The cultural icon brings her voice, vision, and bold energy to a new era of beauty—ushering in a powerful remix of Maybelline’s most legendary sound.

Newszy: Dubai, UAE –  Maybelline New York, the world’s number one makeup brand, proudly welcomes multi-platinum recording artist and international music icon Miley Cyrus as its newest global spokesperson with a bold reimagining of the world-famous “Maybe it’s Maybelline” jingle. Long associated with self-expression and confidence, the jingle now enters a new chapter—transformed through Miley Cyrus’ unmistakable sound and fearless energy.

“I remember singing the Maybelline jingle as a kid and imagining it was me on the screen. Now, it is. To take something so iconic and make it mine—it’s powerful and personal,” said Miley Cyrus. “This partnership brings together two core parts of me. Within music, there’s performance and honesty—makeup enhances both. It’s how I tell my truth without saying a word. Maybelline shares my belief that makeup should be expressive and ever-evolving. Partnering with Maybelline, a brand that celebrates creativity and play, felt like the most natural fit in this stage of my life.”

In a boundary-pushing campaign that bridges nostalgia and reinvention, Maybelline and Miley Cyrus join forces to celebrate creativity in beauty. This marks the beginning of a new era where music and makeup converge—offering fans a fresh way to express themselves and feel empowered.

“Miley is more than a global icon—she is a muse of modern beauty. Her creativity and artistry dance between strength and sensitivity,” said Sandrine Jolly, Global Brand President, Maybelline New York. “With her unmistakable voice and vision, she turns our iconic jingle into something raw, intimate, and powerfully reflective of this Maybelline era.”

This long-term partnership kicks off with Miley Cyrus reimagining the jingle as the heartbeat of the campaign, rolling out across TV, digital, social, and in-store activations starting September 2025. It will also spotlight Miley Cyrus as the face of upcoming launches, including a new color collection and Maybelline’s viral mascara phenomenon, Sky High.

“I think this campaign shows that beauty is fluid, that confidence can look a million different ways, and that you were born with it all along,” added Miley Cyrus.

Welcome to the next era of beauty. Maybe she’s born with it. Maybe it’s Miley.

Wall Street rises after Treasury expands debt buybacks

    August 20, 2026

U.S. stocks ended modestly higher Wednesday as long-term Treasury yields fell sharply. The S&P 500 rose 16.22 points, or 0.21%, to 7,707.98, ending a three-session losing streak. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 119.65 points, or 0.22%, to close at 53,463.05. The Nasdaq Composite added 41.38 points, or 0.16%, finishing at 26,331.09. Falling government bond yields helped major indexes recover after several sessions of pressure from rising borrowing costs. Bond prices climbed after the U.S. Treasury Department announced larger liquidity support buybacks for longer-dated government debt. Starting September 9, the maximum purchase size will increase from $2 billion to at least $4 billion per operation. The change covers nominal coupon securities in the 10-to-20-year and 20-to-30-year maturity sectors. The increased amounts will remain in effect through November 4. The department said strong volumes of high-quality offers supported the decision to increase liquidity operations in those sectors. Treasury yields moved lower following the announcement, reversing part of a recent rise in long-term borrowing costs. The 10-year Treasury yield fell to about 4.65%, while the 30-year yield declined to about 5.20%. The 30-year yield had reached 5.337% on Tuesday, its highest level since 2007.
